All of our classes are mixed age group, for infants to five years. Researchers find this mixed age environment to be most stimulating & beneficial for the young child's music development. The class experience, reinforced through parent involvement & take-home materials, is designed to build tonal & rhythmic skills that nurture a lifelong love of music.
Classes meet once a week for 45-minutes for 10
weeks. Minimum class size 6 children. Makeups for missed
classes can be scheduled and are based on availability.
We respect the exceptional value your family deserves in choosing this high-quality music & movement program for your child's foundational years of learning. Galloping horses, dancing teddy bears, whistle-blowing trains, softly floating snowflakes — these are the sounds you'll discover in MTGR's creatively-crafted classes. Seeing the delight in your own child's eyes when the teacher sings Hello by name, embraces the personal style of MTGR. Celebration drums, tonal bells, rhythm sticks, finger cymbals, colorful maracas, triangles, tambourines — a treasure of hands-on instruments awaits your child at MTGR.
Artistically designed classes encourage music play that
promotes tonal & rhythmic development for newborns through age five.
During these early years when the mind is most impressionable, the
child’s brain is optimally receptive to learning the patterns of music.
MTGR’s talented teachers stimulate the young child’s senses with fun,
engaging activities that build the skills needed for future learning.
Whether an observant snuggler or energetic mover, each child freely
explores sounds through his or her own natural learning style. Your
family's song repertoire expands to include music from around the globe -
Australian chants, lively Caribbean tunes, singing games of Africa,
Mid-Eastern circle-dances, Korean lullabies, traditional folksongs and
more. Music Together's® research-based curriculum and recordings receive
the highest recommendations from families. Our dynamic program and
materials assist parents in understanding and supporting their young
child's behaviors and musical development.
